Nicholas Jennings McGrue, “Nic,” received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.  While at Washington, Nic was student radio talk-show host, an officer in a business club, and the founder of a Pre Law Society.

Nic McGrue received his Juris Doctor Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.  At Pepperdine, Nic focused his studies on business, entrepreneurship, and real estate, and took classes from the world-renowned Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution as well as the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law.  While in law school, Nicholas externed for a judge at the appellate court level and worked in-house for a Fortune 100 company, while also exploring many entrepreneurial ideas.

After graduation, Nic McGrue landed the prestigious Harnish Law Graduate Legal Research Fellowship where he published multiple scholarly articles for a legal encyclopedia.  Later, Nic worked as a tax law consultant for Compliance Technologies International, an international tax law consulting firm.  Nic also holds an L.L.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation with a Certificate in US Tax.

In his spare time, Nic enjoys playing his saxophone, cooking, running, hiking and cheering on his hometown Huskies and Seahawks.  Nic also enjoys traveling abroad, and exploring the many unique experiences that are available to him locally in Southern California.

Nicholas McGrue is admitted to practice in both California and Washington State (Washington License voluntarily inactive).  Nic also holds a Broker’s License (#01873202) from the California Department of Real Estate.  In addition to practicing law, Nic also wears a professor “hat” and teaches business law courses to undergraduate and MBA students.
